Relief for millions of impoverished as India's top court halts funding cuts for Muslim Madrasas

In a significant ruling, India’s top court has temporarily halted shutting down Islamic madrasas for alleged non-compliance with the Right to Education act.

The court’s decision came after Muslim organizations contested the move saying such actions violate the rights of minorities.
