Hezbollah retaliation

The Hezbollah resistance movement has carried out fresh retaliatory operations against Israeli targets in retaliation for the regime’s brutal aggression against Gaza and Lebanon. Hezbollah said in a statement that it downed one Israeli Hermes-900 drone which infiltrated into Lebanese territory and forced another drone to retreat into the occupied Palestinian territory. Hezbollah also launched a salvo of rockets at the port city of Haifa. In addition, the group targeted a command and supply center at the Samson military base, west of Lake Tabariyya, as well as the Israeli regime's Tirat Carmel military base. Meanwhile, Hezbollah fighters also struck Israeli troop gatherings at several locations, including in the Beria missile base, the town of Markaba, Qalaa Heights, and Hounin barracks, reportedly inflicting casualties.

US-Israel Gaza genocide

More Palestinians are killed in Gaza as the Israeli military continues to pound the blockaded territory with air and artillery strikes. In a fresh attack, Israeli forces bombed Abu Hussein School in the Jabalia refugee camp, northern Gaza, leaving a number of people dead or injured. Also in Jabalia, Israeli artillery shelled a UN-run school, resulting in several casualties among those sheltering inside. A number of others, including a child, were killed in an Israeli bombing of a residential building in Beit Lahia, north of Gaza. Israeli drone strike on a vehicle in the central city of Deir al-Balah also claimed three lives. Since October last year, the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza has killed over 42,600 Palestinians and injured nearly 100,000 others. According to Gaza officials, the displaced people bear the brunt of most Israeli strikes.

Liberation of Palestine

A senior Hamas official says Israel’s assassination of Yahya Sinwar, the leader of the group, will not stop the movement from its final goal of liberating all Palestinian lands from the Israeli occupation. In a speech to honor Sinwar, Khaled Meshaal has said that since the start of last year’s al-Aqsa Flood operation against the Israeli occupation, a large number of resistance commanders have been martyred. He stressed that the martyred leader Sinwar has turned into a symbol of resistance among the Palestinian people and all freedom-loving nations around the globe. Sinwar succeeded Ismail Haniya as the group’s political bureau chief in August after the latter was killed by Israel during his stay in Tehran. On Friday, Hamas confirmed that 62-year-old Sinwar was killed during direct combat with the Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.
