Hundreds of people attended a symbolic funeral prayer in Istanbul on Saturday, October 19, for Yahya Sinwar, a Hamas leader who was killed by Israel this week.
The group marched to Sarachane Park in central Istanbul, where they held a funeral prayer. They later chanted anti-Israel slogans. Attendants said they were there to commemorate Sinwar's martyrdom.
Sinwar served as chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau since the Israeli regime assassinated Ismail Haniyeh in July.
