Israeli finance minister Smotrich has drawn criticism for remarks about “Greater Israel,” in which he alleged that the Israeli entity's border would be extended to Damascus, and that "there was no Palestine."

This episode of Spotlight, in an interview with Azhar Sakoor, executive member of Palestine Solidarity Alliance Youth League in South Africa from Johannesburg, and Isabella Zaidan, academic and political analyst from Damascus, looks at Israeli regional ambitions and whether its notion of “Greater Israel” is just a fantasy or it is really an intention to steal land by military aggression backed by the United States.
