Al-Aqsa Flood: Timeline of Axis of Resistance operations against Israel since Oct. 7

By Humaira Ahad

A day after Hamas-led Palestinian resistance launched the path-breaking military operation dubbed ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ on October 7; the Hezbollah resistance movement started its pro-Gaza operations.

The synergy between the resistance groups in the Axis of Resistance as well as the Islamic Republic of Iran over the past year has been instrumental in inflicting crushing military defeat on the Zionist entity.

The regime in Tel Aviv, backed by the West, responded to the Hamas-led resistance operation on October 7 with unutterable horror, crushing every sign of life in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The stated goal was to eliminate the Hamas resistance movement, release its captives and snap all ties between the Palestinian resistance and its allies in the region, from Lebanon to Iraq to Yemen.

However, one year down the line, after killing nearly 42,000 Palestinians, most of them children and women, the Israeli regime has failed to achieve any of those military objectives.

Since October 7 last year, resistance forces across Palestine and the region have been collaborating in joint operations against the Israeli regime and its Western allies.

Hezbollah leader Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, who was assassinated late last month by the Zionist regime, was the first to declare support for the Palestinian resistance from Lebanon.

Yemeni military and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, which is an umbrella group of anti-terror fighters in the Arab country, soon joined and have been conducting operations against the Zionist regime almost regularly in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has expressed its full support to the resistance movements in Palestine, Lebanon and the wider region to confront the child-murdering Israeli regime.

On October 3, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that the Islamic Republic will continue to support the “strong tree” of resistance groups until Palestine is liberated.

His predecessor Ebrahim Raeisi was one of the strongest champions of the Palestinian cause who raised the issue of Israeli genocide in Gaza at multiple international forums.

We list some of the major attacks carried out by Palestinian and regional resistance groups against the Zionist regime during the last year.
