Israeli forces have killed two more Palestinians in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, where Zionist troops' violence surges alongside the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip which began on October 7, 2023.

On Monday, Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank killed a 12-year-old Palestinian boy in Qalandia, in addition to an elderly Palestinian man after savagely assaulting him during a raid on his home in Dura town, south of al-Khalil, the Palestinian health ministry said.

The Israeli forces stormed the home of Sheikh Ziyad Abu Halil, a respected tribal figure, brutally beating up the old man until he lost consciousness.

The Sheikh later died at the Dura Hospital. Doctors determined that the cause of his death was severe internal bleeding.

Since the Israeli regime launched the genocidal war on Gaza, Israeli forces or zionist settlers have killed at least 740 Palestinians in the West Bank, according to the Ramallah-based health ministry.

The Israeli command said it put its forces in the West Bank on high alert for enemy attacks on Monday, restricting movement and closing many checkpoints.

Palestinian residents and some Palestinians with entry permits received notices on their mobile phones saying they would not be allowed into Israel.

Israeli forces' year-long war on Gaza has killed around 42,000 Palestinians, according to Gaza’s health ministry.

In addition, many West Bank Palestinians, Lebanese, and Syrians have been killed by Israeli occupation forces in the region.

In related news, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed this week in a video statement that the Tel Aviv regime's war machine was now engaged in war on seven fronts across West Asia.

Meantime, the Israeli forces have been on high alert as the genocidal war on Gaza enters its second year amid growing tensions with Palestinians in the West Bank, an escalating conflict with Lebanon and other neighboring countries in the region, namely, Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Iran.

On Tuesday evening, Iran launched high-speed missile barrages at Israeli military and intelligence and spying bases, sending millions of settlers into bomb shelters.

Iran’s attack, dubbed Operation True Promise 2, was carried out in response to the Zionist regime’s barbaric acts of assassination against the resistance front’s top leaders.
