Israel’s genocide in Gaza will definitely lead to its destruction: Houthi

The leader of Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi

The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement says the Israeli regime will definitely face “destruction” given its acts of genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip.

Abdul-Malik al-Houthi made the remarks in a televised speech broadcast from the Yemeni capital Sana’a on Sunday, on the occasion of the first anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.

“The enemies are trying to rebuild international alliances and strengthen the relations of the Israeli regime with the great powers of the world to give the enemy international strategic influence. But with this amount of killing by the Israeli regime, there is no doubt that the regime will be destroyed,” Houthi said.

He went on to say that Operation Al-Aqsa Storm destroyed the plans of the occupying regime, stressing that the growing power of the resistance movements in the region has made the Israelis concerned about the regime’s total annihilation.

Pointing out that Operation Al-Aqsa storm had a lot of effects and was a hard blow to Israel, Houthi said that this attack made the nations take a stand against the enemy and confront it.

“No matter how much the Zionist regime continues its genocide and assassinations, it will not achieve the desired result. With genocide, this regime cannot save itself from its inevitable fate, which is destruction,” he said.

Houthi further noted that Israel is using the US-provided internationally prohibited weapons against people in Gaza, emphasizing that Washington is definitely complicit in Israeli crimes in the blockaded territory.

The US has supported the Israeli regime in its genocidal war on Gaza, he said, adding that it has sent tens of thousands of military equipment to Israel to facilitate the mass killing of Palestinians there.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Houthi stated that the martyrdom of the secretary general of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has strengthened the resolve of the group’s fighters.

He also said the path of Martyr Nasrallah will continue and he is alive in the hearts and minds of resistance fighters forever.

Israel has been targeting Lebanon since October 7 last year, when it launched the war on the Gaza Strip after Palestinian resistance movements launched the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the regime's decades-long occupation and oppression.

At least 41,825 Palestinians have been killed, most of them women and children, and another 96,910 individuals have sustained injuries in Gaza so far.
