Iran-China ties ‘deep, stable, strategic,’ says President Pezeshkian

President Masoud Pezeshkian of Iran says the traditional friendship between the Iranian and Chinese nations has evolved into “deep, stable, and strategic” relations.

“I express my desire to work alongside Your Excellency to further develop comprehensive relations between Iran and China,” President Pezeshkian stated in his message to President Xi Jinping, written on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China (PRC).

“The Chinese nation has made significant advancements, laying the foundation for strengthening bridges of friendship and shared prosperity with countries worldwide,” President Pezeshkian stated.

In his message, the Iranian president also emphasized that the two countries, sharing cultural values such as mutual respect and equality, have begun a new chapter of comprehensive relations aimed at deepening cooperation in all fields.

“Now that the traditional friendship between our two nations has stood the test of time and transformed into deep, stable, and strategic relations, I declare my willingness to collaborating with Your Excellency to further enhance these ties,” the message concluded.
