US-Israeli Gaza genocide

More Palestinian civilians fall victim to Israel's air and artillery strikes on the Gaza Strip, as the regime presses ahead with its genocidal aggression against the besieged territory. At least six Palestinians were killed and a number of others injured after an airstrike hit a home near the Badr Mosque, east of Gaza City. The Israeli military also targeted a group of Palestinians in the vicinity of Gaza’s al-Zaytoun neighborhood, killing and injuring several of them. Meanwhile, Israeli artillery fire targeted tents of displaced Palestinians in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, leaving several fatalities. The regime's shelling of al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza also killed a number of Palestinians. The regime also carried out drone strikes in several areas across Gaza, leaving casualties. The Israeli aggression, which began early last October, has left nearly 40,900 Palestinians dead and more than 94,400 injured.

Anti-Netanyahu protests

Israeli protesters have once again taken to the streets in their thousands in protest at the handling of the Gaza onslaught by the regime’s prime minister. The demonstrations in Tel Aviv saw fires lit by protesters as they gathered for the fifth consecutive night. Protesters urged Benjamin Netanyahu to negotiate a ceasefire agreement with Hamas to secure the release of the captives still held in Gaza. They also blocked a major road in Tel Aviv by lighting bonfires. The wave of back-to-back protests started Sunday night when over 500,000 demonstrators gathered to voice their anger at Netanyahu’s failed policies. They accused him of obstructing a deal with Hamas and potentially sacrificing the captives’ lives. The new protests came as cease-fire talks appear to be at stalemate after the Israeli regime added new conditions to a truce proposal that Hamas had already agreed to.

Israel West Bank incursion

Israeli forces continue to wreak havoc on Palestinian cities across the occupied West Bank as they press ahead with their large-scale military operation, which is now in its second week. In Jenin, Israeli troops forced Palestinian families to evacuate their homes in the city’s refugee camp to pave the way for blowing up a mosque. They also made six Palestinian families leave their houses in two neighborhoods and move towards the west of Jenin. The regime’s forces also destroyed a home in the Tulkarm refugee camp, located north of the occupied territory. Israeli forces also deployed more vehicles to the camp, surrounding it from all entrances. The regime’s forces raided and searched several homes, interrogated residents, and physically assaulted some young men. Israel’s offensive started last week. Nearly 40 Palestinians, including children, have been killed so far. Over 140 people have also been wounded and more than 180 arrested.
