The United States has sent 50,000 tons of arms and ammunition to Israel since October 7 when the regime launched its genocidal war against Palestinians in Gaza.

Media reports said on Monday that the US had completed the air delivery of its 500th consignment of weapons and munitions to Israel since it launched its genocidal war on Gaza in early October.

In addition to the weapons and equipment airlifted to Israel since 7 October, Washington has sent Tel Aviv 107 shipments of military supplies by sea.

A statement released by the Israeli War Ministry said on Monday that the US shipments to Tel Aviv included “armored vehicles, munitions, ammunition, personal protection gear, and medical equipment, which are crucial for sustaining … [the regime forces] operational capabilities during the ongoing war.”

Over the past ten months, the Israeli regime forces have used the arms and munitions supplied by the US for the onslaught of Palestinians in Gaza.

These shipments have been used by the Israeli regime forces to massacre over 40,400 Palestinians, mostly women and children, in the Gaza Strip, while making the land uninhabitable for the Palestinian residents.

White House officials, however, claim the US Democratic presidential candidate and current Vice President Kamala Harris has been “working tirelessly” for a Gaza ceasefire agreement.

The Gaza ceasefire talks between Hamas and Tel Aviv -- mediated by the United States, Egypt, and Qatar -- have failed till now.

The United States' provision of military supplies to the Israelis, coupled with Washington’s diplomatic support for the zionist leaders are among the key obstacles to achieving a ceasefire to stop the mass killing of the Palestinian people and the destruction of the Gaza Strip, according to experts of regional and international affairs.

The Gaza Strip is under the “complete siege” of the Israeli regime forces where the zionist war machine started its genocidal war on October 7 after Hamas conducted Operation al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity.

Since the start of the war, the Tel Aviv regime has been committing war crimes in Gaza, cutting off water and food, fuel, electricity, and medicine to the more than two million Palestinians living there, carrying out a systemic genocide of the Gazan people.
