Hundreds took to the streets of Birmingham on Saturday in a show of solidarity with immigrants in the United Kingdom following a surge of anti-immigration riots across the country.
Footage shows protesters rallying with Palestinian flags and signs reading: 'Bash class inequality, not brown people', 'No to racism, no to fascism' and 'Keep the immigrants, deport the fascists'. Police officers were also seen speaking to some demonstrators and patrolling the area.
One protester claimed that the UK is 'on the verge of civil war' due to ongoing riots. Meanwhile, another demonstrator raised concerns over the state of immigration in the UK.
The protest comes following widespread unrest in the UK after three young girls aged between six and nine were stabbed to death during a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in the town of Southport on July 29. Eight other children were hurt - five critically - along with two adults.
