Israel genocide raging
Israel’s relentless air raids and artillery shelling keep claiming more innocent civilian lives. At least 15 Palestinians have been killed in raids on several parts of the southern city of Khan Yunis. In central Gaza, at least three people are killed and several more injured following an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighborhood. An attack on the Nuseirat refugee camp has also left some 8 Palestinians dead including 3 children. The regime has also shelled other locations in central Gaza, including the al-Maghazi refugee camp, resulting in several deaths. In the northern Gaza city of Beit Lahia, two people were killed after Israeli forces targeted a home. Nearly 40,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the start of the war in early October.
'Psychological warfare'
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution says the country’s enemies are waging a psychological war and instilling fear among the nation to stop them from excelling in various fields. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says part of the psychological warfare of the enemies aims to overplay their own abilities. The leader added that they have used different methods since the victory of the Islamic revolution to make Iranians feel afraid of America, England and the Zionists. They have tried to instill fear in different domains such as military, politics and economy to force a retreat in those fields. The leader, however, noted that a non-tactical retreat in any domain will, according to the holy Quran, incur divine wrath. Ayatollah Khamenei added that the best way to deal with such ploys is to recognize one's own abilities and avoid exaggerating the enemies' power. Iran’s leader made the remarks in a meeting with the organizers of a national congress on Iranian martyrs in Tehran.
Israeli actions slammed
Iran’s Permanent Representative to the UN says Israel’s assassination of Hamas leaders aims to undermine the Palestinians’ fight for freedom and independence. In letters addressed to three senior UN human rights officials, Ali Bahreini said Israel seeks to obliterate Palestine’s political identity as a free nation and strip the Palestinians of their right to freedom. The Iranian ambassador to the UN urged the international body to vehemently condemn Israel’s inhumane actions in Gaza as a blatant act of terrorism and designate the regime as a terrorist entity. The Iranian official also strongly denounced Israel’s killing of Hamas Political Bureau Chief, Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on July 31. He said the killing is tantamount to a flagrant violation of international law that requires a decisive and clear condemnation by the UN.
