Iran vows revenge

The Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution has warned the Israeli regime of a harsh response to the assassination of Hamas Political Bureau chief in Tehran. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said it is incumbent on Iran to avenge Ismail Haniyeh. The Leader stressed that the Israeli act of terror has also set the ground for a harsh punishment for the regime.

Condemning Israeli terrorism

The UN Security Council has held an emergency meeting following the Israeli assassination of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. Addressing the meeting, Iran’s UN ambassador called on the world body to make Israel immediately cease all aggressive actions against the Palestinian territories, and other nations in the region. Amir Saeid Iravani added that Iran reserves the right to respond decisively to this terrorist and criminal act when it deems necessary and appropriate.

US-Israeli Gaza genocide

It’s nearly ten months into the Israeli genocide in Gaza. The regime continues to pound the Palestinian territory with refugee camps being the focal point of its recent attacks. In one of the latest attacks, at least eight people were killed in the bombing of a vehicle in al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza. Israeli warplanes also struck al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing at least three people and wounding several others. Elsewhere in Nuseirat, one Palestinian was killed when an airstrike targeted a residential building. An Israeli drone strike hit a group of civilians in central Gaza, leaving at least eight people dead. The regime’s artillery fire also targeted several areas across Gaza, leaving an unknown number of Palestinians dead and injured. Gaza officials says at least 45 Palestinians were killed in 24 hours. A total of 39,445 Palestinians have been killed, and over 91,000 injured since the regime’s genocide started last October.
