Another war looming?

Several countries have issued urgent advisories to their citizens to leave Lebanon amid escalating concerns of a potential Israeli attack on the country. Germany, the United States, Italy, France, and the United Kingdom have advised their citizens to avoid visiting Lebanon. Several international airlines including Air France, Lufthansa, and Turkish Airlines have canceled their flights to Beirut too. Tensions between Israel and Lebanon's Hezbollah movement further escalated after several rockets hit the Israeli-occupied Golan region, killing at least 12 people. Israeli authorities immediately blamed Hezbollah for the attack and said they would respond firmly. Hezbollah however has denied any involvement in the attack.

Genocidal war raging

More Palestinians are falling victim to the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza as the regime in Tel Aviv goes on with its unrelenting strikes on the besieged territory. At least one Palestinian was killed and many others injured in an artillery shelling that targeted the southern city of Khan Younis. Meanwhile, the Israeli military continues to pound central Gaza with heavy artillery and air attacks mainly concentrated on the Bureij refugee camp in the east. Recurrent mass displacement is the dominating scene with the IOF ordering the residents of the Bureij and Nuseirat refugee camps to leave their homes. In a matter of 24 hours, Israeli forces committed three massacres, killing 39 Palestinians and injuring 93 others. Since the beginning of the war on Gaza, more than 39,360 people have been killed and nearly 91,000 injured.

IRGC tanker seizure

Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has seized a tanker smuggling fuel in the Persian Gulf.  IRGC Naval Forces says the Togo-flagged tanker was carrying over 700.000 liters of oil. The vessel was intercepted on Friday while loading in the northern waters of the Persian Gulf. All nine crew members, who were Indian nationals, have been arrested. Last week, a similar operation resulted in the confiscation of a foreign tanker with some 1.5 million liters of smuggled diesel fuel. Iran has vowed that the Persian Gulf would never be a safe place for smugglers. The IRGC Navy also monitors movements in Iran’s southern waters to maintain security there. In recent years, it has foiled several attacks on both Iranian and foreign tankers.
