July 17: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed nearly 38,800 Palestinians and injured more than 89,000 others so far, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Wednesday, July 17, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on July 17

• Conducted a joint operation with Al-Nasser Salah Al-Din Brigades, targeting Israeli forces positioned in the "Al-Izba" area southwest of the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, with mortar shells.
• Targeted an Israeli military Merkava tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell near the Al-Mashrou junction, east of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces in the Al-Marah neighborhood of Jenin, occupied West Bank, using machine guns and explosive devices.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' operations on July 17

• Sniped an Israeli soldier in the Yabna camp in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
• Shelled a position of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles stationed inside and around the Rafah crossing gate with mortar shells.
• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces in the Al-Marah neighborhood in Jenin, occupied West Bank, using machine guns and explosive devices.

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces' operations on July 17

• Detonated a high-powered explosive device on an Israeli armored personnel carrier that had advanced into the vicinity of "Kaf al-Mashrou'" east of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
• Targeted Israeli forces infiltrating the Rafah land crossing with mortar shells.

Mujahideen Brigades' operations on July 17

• Conducted a joint operation with the Ansar Brigades, targeting the headquarters of the Gaza Command Division of the Israeli military “Re’im” with two 107mm rockets.
• Targeted the settlement of "Nirim" in the Gaza envelope with two 107mm rockets.

Martyr Abdulqader Al-Husseini Brigades' operations on July 17

• The rocket and artillery unit of the Martyr Abdulqader Al-Husseini Brigades continued to strike Israeli settlements, military positions, and the "Netzarim" axis with rockets and mortar shells.

Al-Asifah Forces' operations on July 17

• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces storming the city of Jenin, occupied West Bank, with a heavy barrage of bullets.

Hezbollah's operations on July 17

• Targeted the “Sa’ar” and “Gasher Haziv” settlements with dozens of Katyusha rockets.

Islamic Resistance in Iraq's operations on July 17

• Launched a drone strike towards a vital Israeli military target in occupied Umm Al-Rashrash (Eilat).
