In Tehran, the streets come alive with somber displays of faith as Shia Muslims worldwide commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussain.

Amidst the mourning, international students have joined their Iranian peers, as they draw parallels between this tragedy and the ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza.
