US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

Israel keeps pounding Palestinian neighborhoods across the Gaza Strip, claiming more civilian lives. Israeli drone attacks have left twelve civilians, mostly children, dead and dozens more injured in the central al-Bureij and Nusairat refugee camps. An airstrike killed three civilians and injured several others west of Rafah, in southern Gaza. Meanwhile, the number of civilians killed in an earlier strike on a school sheltering displaced Palestinians in Khan Yunis increased to 30. The Hamas resistance movement has strongly condemned the deadly attack, calling for worldwide protests in support of the oppressed Palestinians in Gaza. Gaza health officials say at least 50 civilians were killed, and 130 others injured in the last 24 hours. Since early October, the death toll from the US-Israeli genocide has passed 38,240 with over 88,000 others injured.

Israeli crimes in Gaza

A newly released report shows the extent of damage and destruction to the Palestinian education system, wrought by Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza and its recurrent raids across the occupied West Bank. According to the Palestinian education ministry, over 88 hundred students have been killed and 14,000 others injured in Gaza alone since the start of the war in October. During the same period in the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces killed 101 students and wounded over 500 others. According to the report, in both Gaza and the West Bank, nearly 500 teachers and academic staff have been killed, and 357 others detained since October the 7th. The ministry also added that around 620,000 students have been deprived of enrolling in their schools in Gaza as most of them suffer from trauma and health problems.

Yemen retaliatory operations

The Yemeni army says it has carried out fresh operations against Israeli and American ships in the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden. The spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces has said an American ship, named Maersk Sentosa, was targeted in the Arabian Sea, using a number of ballistic missiles. According to Yahya Saree, another ship was hit by drones in the Arabian Sea. The operation came because of a decision by the ship’s owners to access ports in occupied Palestine. An Israeli ship was also targeted by a number of drones in the Gulf of Aden. In recent months, Yemen has carried out operations against Israeli-linked or Israeli-bound ships in support of the Palestinians in Gaza. The Arab country has said such operations will continue as long as Israel keeps committing genocide in Gaza.
