An Insider's View of the Country: Ramsar City, and the Traditional Bazaar in Yazd

The city of Ramsar is a gem in the north of Iran, a city that hosts hundreds of thousands of tourists from Iran and other countries every year, who travel there to enjoy its invigorating climate and the exceptional sightseeing opportunities. Yazd is also considered one of Iran's main centers of industrial textiles. Termeh is a traditional luxury fabric that was originally made by hand. It is made of silk, cotton and sometimes threads of precious metals like gold and silver, woven in different colorful designs. Termeh handicraft are taken as souvenirs from Yazd.
