Islamic Republic's reputation on world stage tied to voter turnout: Leader

Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei called for a high turnout in Iran's presidential election, saying that people's presence is tied to the reputation of the establishment on the world stage.

"The durability, consistency, dignity and the reputation of the Islamic Republic in the world depend on the turnout of the people. That is why we recommend our dear people to take voting seriously and participate in this important political test," he said on Friday morning after casting his ballot.
