US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

More Palestinian civilians are killed as Israel’s indiscriminate airstrikes continue to pound various parts of the besieged Gaza Strip.  The regime’s fresh attacks have killed at least 35 Palestinians and injured more than 130 others across the territory. In Gaza City, an Israeli airstrike left eight civilians dead and several others injured. In the west, regime jets targeted the vicinity of Al-Shifa hospital, resulting in a number of casualties. In the center, a drone strike on a group of people in Deir al-Balah city killed one civilian and injured several others. Also, rescue teams retrieved the bodies of three children and their mother from under the rubble in Nuseirat refugee camp. More than 37,400 people have been killed and above 85,000 others injured since the Israeli onslaught began in Gaza last October. Authorities say 152 journalists are among the dead.

Rejecting ICC statement

The Palestinian Resistance Movement, Hamas, has strongly denounced a call by the International Criminal Court’s Prosecutor requesting arrest warrants against three of its senior officials. In a statement, Hamas described the ICC's accusations as false and based on information from misleading sources. The statement added the prosecutor's claims were riddled with errors and showed a clear bias in favor of the occupying Israeli regime. The group accused the ICC of ignoring the ongoing suffering of millions of Palestinians enduring genocide, blockade, and starvation due to decades of occupation. It also doubled down on the Palestinians’ right to resist the Israeli occupation by all means, including armed resistance, which is affirmed by international laws. In May, the ICC's prosecutor called for arrest warrants against three Hamas leaders along with two Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

'Stop Israel arms exports'

A group of UN experts warn arms manufacturers against exporting weapons to the Israeli regime, saying it could make them complicit in serious violations of human rights and international laws. The group of 30 experts, including UN Special Rapporteurs, called on arms manufacturers to stop transferring war equipment to the regime. It said providing arms to Israel for its Rafah offensive in Gaza could be seen as a known violation of international laws. This as the International Court of Justice last month ordered the regime to immediately stop its operation in the city. The group said Israeli military assault is characterized by indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks on the civilian population and infrastructure, including through extensive use of explosive weapons.
