Clashes erupted between pro-Israel and pro-Palestine demonstrators on Monday in Brooklyn at a real estate event to sell Palestinian land to settlers.

New York's Jewish community has been hosting events annually to auction off land in Israel and in West Bank settlements.

The "Great Real Estate Event," organized by the brokerage firm MyHome in Israel, has been touring the United States and Canada.

Pro-Palestinian activists have called for protests in response, calling the events a steal of land.

Each event has been met with mass rallies by Palestine solidarity movements, sometimes leading to clashes with pro-Israeli protesters.
