June 9: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed at least 37,124 Palestinians so far, including more than 16,000 children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Friday, June 9, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on June 9:

  • Targeted a group of Israeli forces stationed south of the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood in the city of Rafah, southern Gaza, with mortar shells.
  • Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces in the vicinity of the Kuwaiti Hospital in the city of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, with heavy-caliber mortar shells.
  • Targeted an Israeli military Apache helicopter with a SAM 7 missile over the sea near the city of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
  • In a joint operation with Al-Quds Brigades, bombed the "Sofa" military site with a rocket barrage.
  • Sniped an Israeli soldier in the Tal Zorob area, west of the city of Rafah, southern Gaza.
  • Targeted an Israeli military Merkava-4 tank during the invasion east of Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

Al-Quds Brigades' operations on June 9:

  • Targeted gatherings of Israeli military around the “Kerem Shalom” site, east of the city of Rafah, southern Gaza, with mortar shells and 107mm rockets.
  • In a joint operation with Al-Qassam Brigades, bombed the “Sofa” military site with a rocket barrage.
  • Targeted Israeli military forces with heavy mortar shells in the Yabna camp, south of the city of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
  • Targeted the positions of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the community stadium in the Brazilian neighborhood southeast of Rafah, southern Gaza, with a barrage of standard 60-caliber mortar shells.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' operations on June 9:

  • Targeted an Israeli military gathering and their military vehicles with a barrage of mortar shells near the Yabna camp, south of the city of Rafah, southern Gaza.
  • Targeted a group of Israeli forces stationed in the “Netzarim” axis with a 107-type rocket barrage and 120-caliber mortar shells.
  •  Targeted an Israeli military force holed up in a building in the Saudi neighborhood with machine guns and an RPG shell, west of the city of Rafah, southern Gaza.
  • Targeted a command and control center of the Israeli military along the supply line in the “Netzarim” axis, south of Gaza City, with a 107-type rocket barrage.
  • Sniped an Israeli regime soldier in the axis of advancement in the Tal Zorob area, west of the city of Rafah, southern Gaza.
  • Sniped an Israeli soldier in the “Netzarim” axis, south of the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood.
  • Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces' operations on June 9:
  • Targeted a group of Israeli forces with mortar shells in the vicinity of Al-Awda Roundabout in the city of Rafah, southern Gaza.

Mujahideen Brigades' operations on June 9:

  • Targeted a group of Israeli forces stationed on the "Netzarim" axis with a rocket barrage.

Hezbollah's operations on June 9:

Eastern sector:

  • The Ramtha site in Lebanon's Kfar Shuba was targeted with missiles.
  • The Zaoura site in Syria's Golan was targeted with Katyusha rockets.
  • Israeli soldiers at the Odum site were targeted with drones.
  • The surveillance equipment at the Ruwaisat al-Alam site in Lebanon's Kfar Shuba was targeted with appropriate weapons.
  • The Al-Samaqa site in Lebanon's Kfar Shuba was targeted with missiles.
  • An Israeli warplane was targeted in Lebanese airspace, forcing it to retreat.

Western sector:

  • The Birkat Risha site was targeted with artillery shells and guided missiles.

Yemeni military's operations on June 9:

  • Targeted a British warship (Diamond) in the Red Sea with ballistic missiles.
  • Carried out two joint operations against two ships in the Arabian Sea belonging to companies that violated the ban on entering the ports of occupied Palestine.
