Iran has lashed out at former US presidential hopeful and UN ambassador Nikki Haley over her graphic show of support for Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

In an X post on Sunday, Iran’s Foreign Minister Nasser Kan’ani condemned Haley after she signed an Israeli artillery shell with the inscription “Finish Them!” during a visit to the occupied territories’ northern border with Lebanon.

“[This is] the slaughter of humanity, ethics, and human rights in the name of love for the child-killing Israeli regime,” he wrote.

“A note from “Nikki Haley,” American politician and former presidential candidate, on Israeli bombs: “Finish them ...”!!!”

Photos of Haley writing on the bomb were shared on Tuesday by Israeli parliamentarian and former envoy to the United Nations, Danny Danon, who accompanied the American politician during her trip.

Haley’s message also carried the words “America loves Israel.”

Speaking to reporters, she was unapologetic after the shell-signing and criticized US President Joe Biden for temporarily withholding weapons from the occupying regime.

She also censured the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which is considering charges of genocide against Israel, and the International Criminal Court (ICC), which is seeking the arrest of the regime’s officials.

“America needs to do whatever Israel needs and stop telling them how to fight this war. You are either a friend or not a friend,” she said.

Haley’s shell-signing and subsequent comments sparked angry reactions on social media.

Democratic US Representative Jamaal Bowman called Haley a “disgusting human being.”

“That’s genocidal language, and it’s the language that has the American people turning against our government,” he said.

“Why do we continue to support not just the consistent attacks in Gaza, but the forever wars?”

Former Human Rights Watch executive director Kenneth Roth said, “Nikki Haley shows who she is.”

“Why not just sign, ‘I favor Israeli war crimes,’” he added in a post on X.

Israel waged its bloody Gaza onslaught on October 7 after the Hamas resistance movement carried out its historic operation against the usurping entity in retaliation for the regime’s intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

So far, the Tel Aviv regime has killed at least 36,379 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured 82,407 others in the Gaza Strip.
