The Israeli regime has carried out another attack on a tented camp in Rafah, killing at least 21 displaced Palestinians.

The city is still reeling from the horrifying massacre of May 26 that fueled global outrage.

Gaza health authorities said the strike on an evacuation area west of Rafah killed at least 21 people on Tuesday.

At least 12 of the dead were women, according to medical officials.

Meanwhile, the regime’s tanks and armored vehicles reached the heart of Rafah, according to witnesses.

Locals said Israel’s tanks were “stationed on the Al-Awda roundabout in the center of the city of Rafah.”

A Palestinian security source confirmed tanks were in the center of Rafah — a city deemed a “safe zone” for displaced Palestinians to flee to when the regime started its barbarous campaign in early October.

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas warned in a statement on Tuesday that the city “is being subjected to indiscriminate barbaric Zionist bombing, affecting homes and tents of displaced people in various parts of the city.”

The Palestinian resistance movement called on the UN Security Council “to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities in the face of the criminal Zionist entity’s disregard” for the the International Court of Justice decision.

The World Court on Friday ordered Israel to halt its offensive in Rafah.

Israel has come under intensifying pressure to halt the military offensive in Rafah.

'72 displaced Palestinians killed'

The Gaza Media Office said in a statement on Tuesday that the regime’s military had killed 72 displaced people within 48 hours.

“The occupation has a premeditated intention to continue committing more massacres against civilians and displaced people,” it said.

The Tuesday strike also came in an area where displaced civilians were sheltering in tents.

Over the past three weeks, the regime’s invasion of Rafah has sent nearly a million Palestinians fleeing the city across a wide area.

Most have already been displaced multiple times so far.
