May 17: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed 35,386 Palestinians so far, including more than 16,000 children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Wednesday, May 17, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on May 17:

• In a joint operation with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, bombed a command and control center of the Israeli military in the "Netzarim" axis, south of Gaza City, with mortar shells.
• Bombed a command and control center of the Israeli military east of Jabalia camp with heavy-caliber mortar shells.
• Sniped an Israeli soldier east of the city of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.
• Targeted a special unit of Israeli force holed up in a building east of the city of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip using a TBG shell. 
• Cut off the Israeli military's supply line east of Jabalia camp in the northern Strip after targeting an armored personnel carrier with an Al-Yassin 105 shell and showering a group of Israeli soldiers with bullets from a "BKC" machine gun. 

Al-Quds Brigades' operations on May 17:

• Bombed a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles in Jabal Al-Kashef neighborhood east of the city of Jabalia with a barrage of mortar shells.
• Targeted an Israeli force holed up in a house in Izbet Melin in the city of Jabalia with an anti-personnel TBG shell.
• Bombed Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles in the vicinity of Al-Taba'een Mosque, east of Rafah, with a barrage of heavy mortar shells.
• Bombed a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles with a barrage of 60-caliber regular mortar shells near Burj Al-Tanani, east of Jabalia camp.
• Targeted a command and control center of the Israeli military east of Rafah in southern Gaza with a 107mm type rocket barrage. 
• Bombed a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles around Al-Shibil Mosque with heavy caliber mortar shells. 
• Sniped an Israeli soldier on Abu Al-Aish Street in Jabalia camp, northern Gaza Strip. 
• Bombed a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles near the Daghal factory in Jabal Al-Kashef neighborhood, east of the city of Jabalia, with a barrage of 60mm mortar shells.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' operations on May 17:

• Bombed an Israeli military gathering at the "Sofa" military support site with an “Aqsa 103” rocket barrage.
• Bombed a gathering of Israeli military vehicles with mortar shells on the axes of advance around the Rafah border crossing in the southern Gaza Strip.
• Targeted Israeli army vehicles with mortar shells on the axes of advance east of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli soldiers using appropriate weapons on "Abu Al-Aish" Street in Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip. 

Mujahideen Brigades' operations on May 17:

• Targeted an Israeli military Merkava tank using an RBG shell east of Jabalia town. 

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces' operations on May 17:

• Targeted Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles in the Jabal Al-Kashef neighborhood, east of Jabalia camp, with short-range 107-type rockets.
• Targeted and destroyed an Israeli military Merkava 4 tank on Abu Al-Aish Street, east of the Jabalia camp, with a tandem shell.

Al-Nasser Salah Al-Din Brigades' operations on May 17:

• In a joint operation with Al-Quds Brigades, targeted the "Sderot" settlement with a barrage of rockets from Jabalia camp.
• Targeted the positions of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles the Civil Administration area east of Jabalia camp with a barrage of heavy-caliber mortar shells.

Al-Asifah Forces' operations on May 17:

• Bombed a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles in Mount Al-Kashef neighborhood east of Jabalia city with a barrage of 60-caliber standard mortar shells.

Hezbollah's operations on May 17:

Eastern sector:

• At around 14:30 local time, the Tsnobar Base of the Israeli military in Syria's Golan Heights was targeted with 50 Katyusha rockets.
• At around 14:30 local time, the Al-Zaourah site was targeted with Katyusha rockets.
• At around 16:00 local time, the Bayad Blida site was targeted with appropriate weapons. 
• At around 16:00 local time, Al-Baghdadi site was targeted with appropriate weapons. 
• At around 18:30 local time, the Zibdin site in Lebanon's Shebaa was targeted with appropriate weapons. 
• At around 18:30 local time, the Al-Sammaqa site in Lebanon's Kafr Shuba was targeted with appropriate weapons.
• At around 21:30 local time, Israeli soldiers in the Metulla settlement were targeted with appropriate weapons. 

Western sector:

• At around 05:30 local time, the headquarters of the 411th Artillery Battalion in Jatoun was targeted with a barrage of drones.
• At around 14:50 local time, the Rahib site was targeted with artillery shells.
• At around 15:15 local time, the Jal al-Alam site was targeted with rockets and artillery shells.
• At around 16:30 local time, surveillance equipment of the Israeli military in the Pranit Barracks was targeted with appropriate weapons.
• At around 17:30 local time, the Al-Malikiyah site was targeted with artillery shells.
• At around 23:10 local time, a military vehicle was targeted in the Al-Malikiyah site.

Yemeni military's operations on May 17:

• Shot down an American MQ-9 drone while it was conducting hostile activities in the skies over Ma'rib Governorate. 

Islamic Resistance in Iraq's operations on May 17:

• Targeted a vital Israeli military target in "Eilat" in Israeli occupied territories using drones.
