May 5: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed nearly 34,700 Palestinians so far, including more than 16,000 children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Sunday, May 5, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades’ operations on May 5:

• Targeted the command and control headquarters and deployments inside the Karam Abu Salem [“Kerem Shalom”] military site, east of the city of Rafah, with a “Rajoom” rocket barrage.
• In a joint operation with the Al-Quds Brigades, bombed the positions of Israeli soldiers in the "Netzarim" axis with short-range 107mm rockets.
• Sniped an Israeli regime soldier on Street 10, south of Tal Al-Hawa, in Gaza City.
• Targeted a group of Israeli soldiers stationed on Street 10, southwest of Gaza City, with heavy-caliber mortar shells.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades’ operations on May 5:

• Bombed the positions of Israeli soldiers on the supply line of the “Netzarim” axis
• Bombed the positions of Israeli troops and their military vehicles with a barrage of heavy mortar shells along the supply line of the “Netzarim” axis.
• Bombed the gatherings of Israeli military vehicles with mortar shells east of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces and their military vehicles storming the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, using machine guns and explosive devices.

Al-Quds Brigades’ operations on May 5:

• Bombed the gatherings of Israeli soldiers around the Al-Baydar area on Al-Rashid Street, west of Gaza City, with a barrage of mortar shells.

Mujahideen Brigades’ operations on May 5:

• Bombed the Israeli military’s command and control center on the "Netzarim" axis with a barrage of short-range rockets.

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces’ operations on May 5:

• Fired a number of heavy-caliber mortar shells at the "Kissufim" military site.

Hezbollah’s operations on May 5:

Eastern sector:

• At around 13:10 local time, the Kiryat Shmona settlement was targeted with dozens of Katyusha and Falaq rockets.
• At around 15:30 local time, Israeli soldiers and vehicles in the Al-Za’oura site were targeted with dozens of Katyusha rockets.\
• Around the same time, targeted the Kfarouval settlement with a barrage of missiles.
• Around the same time, targeted the Kfargaladi settlement with a barrage of missiles.
• Around the same time, targeted the Margaliot settlement with a barrage of missiles.

Western sector:

• At around 15:20 local time, the surveillance equipment of the Israeli military at the Ramia site was targeted with appropriate weapons.
• Around the same time, targeted a building in the Avivim settlement with appropriate weapons.
• Around the same time, targeted a building in the Shtola settlement with appropriate weapons.
• At around 18:00 local time, the surveillance equipment at the Malkeyeh site was targeted with appropriate weapons.

Islamic Resistance in Iraq’s operations on May 5:

• Launched Arqab advanced cruise missile towards the Port of Haifa in the occupied territories.
