April 17: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed nearly 4,000 Palestinians so far, including more than 16,000 children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Tuesday, April 17, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on April 17:

• Targeted a D9 military bulldozer of the Israeli military with Al-Yassin-105 shells east of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
• Sniped an Israeli regime soldier in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' operations on April 17:

• Bombed a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles that penetrated east of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip with 120-mm mortar shells.
• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli soldiers using appropriate weapons on the axis of advance east of Deir Al-Balah city. 
• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces storming the city of Tubas with a barrage of bullets and explosives.
• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces and their military vehicles in Tubas city from several fronts, using light weapons and explosive devices.
• Targeted a command and control center of the Israeli military southwest of Gaza City with 107-mm rockets. On the rockets, they had written 'Your entity will disappear."

Al-Quds Brigades' operations on April 17:

• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli soldiers using machine guns and anti-tank missiles east of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
• Targeted an Israeli military bulldozer with a pre-arranged explosive device which was followed by clashes near Al-Quds Open University, Al-Ahmadiyya roundabout, and several axes in the occupied West Bank. 

Al-Nasser Salah Al-Din Brigades' operations on April 17:

• Targeted and destroyed the “Zikim” military base of the Israeli regime with a barrage of rockets. On the paper next to the rocket was written: "Salute to the Islamic Republic of Iran and their blessed strikes against Israel."

Hezbollah's operations on April 17:

Eastern sector:

• At around 23:30 local time, an Israeli military vehicle was targeted at the Metulla site with appropriate weapons, resulting in casualties.
• At around 15:40 local time, the Zibdin barracks in Lebanon's Shebaa were targeted with Falaq missiles. 
• At around 15:50 local time, surveillance equipment of the Israeli military was targeted at the Ramtha site in Lebanon's Kfar Shuba.

Western sector:

• At around 07:30 local time, the headquarters of the 91st Division in the Beranit Barracks was targeted with a Burkan missile.
• At around 07:50 local time, Israeli soldiers were targeted south of the Beranit Barracks with rockets and artillery shells.
• At around 08:30 local time, Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Ramia site were targeted with rockets and artillery shells.
• At around 08:50 local time, Israeli soldiers south of the Beranit Barracks were targeted with a barrage of missiles.
• At around 11:30 local time, the forward air control of the Israeli military at the Meron base was targeted with guided missiles.
• At around 13:15 local time, the 'National Center' base in Arab Al-Aramsha was targeted with drones and missiles, resulting in casualties.
