The recent US embarrassment at the United Nations came into focus with the visit to South Korea of the US Ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield.

The UN Security Council on March 28 struck down the extension of a Panel of Experts which oversees US sponsored UN sanctions against the DPRK.

Pyongyang hit back at Washington's double standards which the sanctions represent.
