In Numbers: Six months of Israeli regime's genocidal onslaught on Gaza

By Press TV Website Staff

Israeli regime's genocidal war on Gaza launched on October 7 last year, completes six months on Saturday, leaving behind a trail of death, destruction, displacement and starvation.

These 184 days – between October 7, 2023, and April 7, 2024 – have been marked by Palestinian civilians mercilessly killed in cold blood, hospitals and schools leveled in indiscriminate bombings, women tortured and sexually abused and young boys abducted and jailed on trumped-up charges.

Human rights campaigners and international bodies worldwide have described the gory events unfolding in the besieged coastal territory as a textbook case of genocide and ethnic cleansing.

The death toll in the apartheid regime’s genocidal campaign has already topped 32,100 since October 7, more than 75 percent of them being women and children, according to the Gaza government office.
