Israeli military forces have killed two unarmed Palestinian men in the northern Gaza Strip, new footage shows, as the occupying regime continues its genocidal war against the besieged territory.

The disturbing incident, which was captured by long-distance cameras, shows Israeli troops opening fire on the two men who were walking along al-Rashid Street and the al-Nablusi roundabout in Gaza City.

Before fatally shooting the Palestinian men, the regime’s soldiers gave them a false sense of safety as the two were waving a piece of white cloth as a sign of surrender.

The footage also shows Israeli soldiers trying to bury them with sand and garbage using a bulldozer.

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas reacted to the incident, saying “it was further evidence to fascism and criminality that governs the Zionist regime’s behavior in its Gaza genocide.”

Hamas also called on the United Nations to hold the Israeli regime accountable for its crimes committed against unarmed civilians in Gaza.

The latest development comes as the Israeli regime has carried out eight attacks across Gaza in the past 24 hours, resulting in the death of 76 Palestinians and injuring of 102 others, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

In the southern city of Rafah, the occupying regime attacked a greenhouse near the al-Shaboura refugee camp, killing 4 people, including a woman.

An Israeli airstrike on a residential building in the western part of Gaza also left seven Palestinians dead.

Dozens were also wounded in Israeli strikes on al-Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

An Israeli strike on a building full of people near the al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City also killed several people and trapped 6 children under the rubble.

Israel continues to target residential areas and healthcare facilities across Gaza for nearly six months, despite a recent UN Security Council resolution that demands an immediate ceasefire.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, the latest figures brought the total number of people Israel has killed in Gaza since early October last year to more than 32,500. Over 74,000 others have also been injured.

Israel unleashed its war on Gaza on October 7 after Hamas carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the usurping entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

The Tel Aviv regime has also imposed a “complete siege” on the territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.

On Monday, the UN Security Council adopted a long-awaited resolution that demands an immediate ceasefire for the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

The UN Security Council’s call for a ceasefire comes as international fears have grown over the planned Israeli ground invasion of Rafah, where more than one million Palestinians have sought shelter.
