Hamas: Israel desperately after covering up Gaza failure by striking hospitals
The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas says Israel is desperately seeking to cover up its military failure in the Gaza Strip by attacking hospitals.
During the early hours of Monday, the regime’s forces launched an attack on al-Shifa Hospital, Gaza’s largest, which has sheltered thousands of Palestinians who fled hostilities in the north.
Hamas said the steadfastness and resilience the Palestinians have displayed over the past months of conflict have made victory a distant dream for Israel.
More than half of medical facilities in the besieged Palestinian territory are now either totally out of order or partially destroyed.
In the Monday attack on al-Shifa Hospital, Brigadier General Fayeq al-Mabhouh, the commander of the Police Service in the Gaza Strip, was also assassinated.
Israel’s hospital savagery drew condemnations.
On Tuesday, China said the facility “is an epitome of the ongoing humanitarian crisis” in the Gaza Strip.
Beijing called for an immediate ceasefire and swift delivery of humanitarian aid “to ease the situation on the ground.”
More than 31,000 people. That is the astonishing number of Palestinians the Israeli regime has killed since October 7, 2023.
Israel keeps the campaign of death and destruction going, global condemnations and calls for ceasefire notwithstanding.
