Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Berlin on Saturday to demonstrate their solidarity with Palestinians and demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Footage features protesters marching with placards and banners reading 'Freedom for Palestine', 'Reparations by supporting a new genocide', 'Human rights are not white privilege', among others.
"We are here to demonstrate for Palestine and I think it's not only about Palestine. It's also about showing our anger towards the German media and the German politicians," said Ahmed, a protester.
Another respondent, Niamh said that people didn't expect they would have to be protesting for 'so long'.
"It's very hard to hope that something's going to turn over very quickly but the reason why everybody keeps coming out, the people I know keep coming out, is because we do believe it will change slowly, it will change," she added.
