At least 36 people have been killed and many others wounded after the Israeli regime targeted a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central part of the Gaza Strip, as the occupying regime continues its deadly bombing campaign in the besieged territory.
The Government Media Office in Gaza said in a statement that the house belonged to the Tabatibi family, adding that the majority of those killed were children, and a pregnant woman was among the fatalities.
Palestine’s official Wafa news agency also reported that another air strike on the camp killed a further seven Palestinians, mostly women and children on Saturday.
Meanwhile, dozens of Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed in multiple Israeli air strikes across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.
According to Wafa, Israeli warplanes targeted a seven-storey residential building housing displaced people near al-Shifa Hospital, the largest medical complex in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, killing and wounding several people.
Israeli warplanes also bombed a residential house on Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City, resulting in dozens of casualties.
An Israeli strike also hit a house in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in the city, killing five civilians and injuring dozens of others.
The occupying regime also shelled a house in the Al-Nasr neighborhood Gaza City, killing and wounding several civilians.
Israeli warplanes also targeted several areas in the city of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza Strip.
In the southern city of Rafah, the occupation regime also targeted a populated house, wounding a number of civilians.
Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime's decades-long campaign of bloodletting and devastation against Palestinians.
Since the start of the offensive, the Tel Aviv regime has killed at least 31,490 Palestinians and injured more than 73,439 others.
The Tel Aviv regime has imposed a “complete siege” on the territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
