Republicans, Democrats both committed to Israel’s genocide in Gaza: Analyst

Both Republican and Democratic Parties are fully committed to Israel’s genocidal war against the Palestinians no matter where “their tyranny, repression, and murderous policies lead the world,” an American writer and sociopolitical analyst has said.

Walt Peretto, who is based in Washington, DC, made the remarks in an exclusive interview with Press TV website on Tuesday while commenting on the recent statement made by Independent US Senator Bernie Sanders.

Sanders has said that the United States cannot continue funding Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's war machine as it presses ahead with its horrific genocide of the Palestinians trapped in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Sanders, a former presidential candidate, condemned Israel’s killing of 112 people and injuring 750 more seeking aid in Gaza last week.

Peretto said that “Sanders of Vermont is nestled in a unique position to criticize US complicity with the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza because he is technically independent of the two ruling parties: the Democrats and the Republicans.”

“Sanders is also a self-described ‘democratic socialist’ who is critical of Israeli PM Netanyahu’s ‘right-wing’ regime,” the analyst said.

However, Peretto added that “the US Senate as a whole remains committed to Israeli crimes against humanity.”

“The Democratic Party has become increasingly pro-war in the last few decades, while the Republican Party has a long tradition of initiating conflicts and coups around the world. Both parties have made it clear that they are fully committed to Israel no matter where their tyranny, repression, and murderous policies lead the world,” Peretto said.

“Amid the genocide in Gaza and the world’s general lack of response, over 30,500 Palestinians have been killed by Israel since October 7, 2023,” he stated.

“Additionally, the leaders of the mainstream media in the US are rabidly pro-Israel with a significant number of dual US/Israeli citizens in key positions. This leads to a normalization of pro-Israeli bias no matter how horrible a crime Israel commits,” the analyst noted.

“Getting away with 9/11 would not have been possible without the Zionist-controlled Western mainstream media prepared for a uniform cover-up role,” he said.

“Through this global media monopoly and the psychological shock and awe of the mainstream narrative, they convinced most of the world that 9/11 was a Takfiri operation – until forensic evidence revealed it was an Israeli/US globalist operation,” the Washington, DC-based writer said.

Israel's aggression in Gaza, which was launched after the Hamas operation, has killed 30,534 people, mostly women and children, according to the latest toll from the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry.

The Israeli regime launched the war following al-Aqsa Storm, a surprise operation by Gaza's resistance groups, including Hamas, against the occupied territories that were staged in response to the intensification of Tel Aviv's decades-long campaign of occupation and aggression against Palestinians.

“The goal here is not Israeli security, but genocide leading to displacement. Israel wants the entire Gaza Strip and eventually the entire West Bank,” Peretto said.

"I think they have to give this just a little bit of time," Biden told The New Yorker in an interview that was published on Monday.

In an attempt to justify Israel’s resolve to keep up the military onslaught, Biden said, "The pressure on the [Israeli] leadership to move with every ounce of capacity against Hamas is real."

Israel has vowed not to stop the aggression until the realization of its declared goals, including "destruction" of Hamas, which many dismiss as unattainable.

“Time for what? Time to bring the number of slain men, women, and children up to 60,000?” Peretto asked.

“Biden is a tool of the Zionist crime syndicate – just like former US President Donald Trump,” the analyst said.

“Sanders remains the only Senator in a position to criticize funding of the genocide while not losing his job in the next election,” he added.

“Israel was founded in 1948 by international banking families and several secret societies as a base of operations in the Middle East. These international banks represent almost all the world’s central banks,” Peretto said.

“This is where money is created out of thin air and strategically distributed to fuel the world’s economies and finance globalist operations that include a cashless society with a global central bank digital currency,” he revealed.

“In sum, criticism of the genocide in Gaza is in essence a challenge against the world’s money creation monopoly. Since so many professional politicians and multinational corporations feed from this monetary trough — few will dare challenge it,” he concluded.
