Another Palestinian has fallen victim to Israel’s atrocities in the occupied West Bank, as tensions there remain at a boiling point over the regime’s genocidal war in Gaza.
The man was shot dead by Israeli forces near a military checkpoint, east of Bethlehem city, on Tuesday.
The Palestinian Red Crescent has identified the slain Palestinian as 34-year-old Nizar Mahmoud Abdel-Muti.
Earlier on Tuesday, three other Palestinians were killed in Israeli raids near the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.
The Israeli regime has escalated its acts of aggression against Palestinians across the West Bank since early October 2023, when it began a genocidal war on the besieged Gaza Strip.
In its latest report, the UN said around 400 Palestinians, including at least 100 children, have been killed since then.
On the other hand, the aggression against Gaza has so far claimed the lives of nearly 30,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, leaving some 70,000 others wounded.
