UNRWA funding cut

The genocide launched by the Israeli and US regimes in the besieged Gaza Strip continues. During these dystopian times, we have seen the victims, over 26,000 Palestinians who have been killed, being portrayed as the perpetrators of the violence. And the Israeli regime is being portrayed as the victim.

We have seen Lebanon's Hezbollah and Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movements labeled as terrorists when they are trying to stop the Zionist onslaught on Gaza. And now UNWRA, an institution, which was created in 1948 after the first Nakba of Palestinians to provide assistance for the displaced, is being defunded in the middle of this genocide by the US, the UK, Australia, Germany and several other countries. This happened one day after the International Court of Justice released its initial findings regarding Israeli genocide, as if to show the world once and for all that there is no international law. Might makes rights.

This edition of the Spotlight program is about the decision by the US and its allies to defund UNRWA in the middle of the ongoing Israeli genocide against the people of Gaza.
