The United States’ military assets in Syria and Iraq have been targets of a host of strikes by regional resistance groups since a long time ago. However, the frequency of those attacks has increased dramatically since the US-Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip began.
This is the latest tally of anti-US strikes across the region: 137 targets in total, 78 in Syria and 59 in Iraq.
Just a few days ago, the Pentagon admitted that there have been approximately 140 attacks on US bases in Iraq and Syria since mid-October, with 83 in Syria and 57 in Iraq. Since the announcement, there have been two additional attacks in Iraq, which brought the total to 59.
In addition to supporting Gaza, resistance groups in those countries are mounting pressure on the US to withdraw its forces.
In this report, Press TV takes a detailed look at the latest strikes against American targets across the region in support of Palestinians in Gaza.
