Jan. 19: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against Israel and its Western backers amid the regime's genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of nearly 25,000 Palestinians, mostly children and women.

The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Friday, January 19, are as follows:

Qassam Brigades' operations on Jan. 19:

• Shot dead two Israeli soldiers with a Qassam “Ghoul” rifle east of Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip
• Targeted a Merkava tank with two soldiers next to it using an “Al-Yassin 105” shell, which led to its complete destruction and the killing of the two soldiers.
• Destroyed three Merkavas with “Shuath" explosive devices, east of Khan Yunis.
• Targeted an Israeli military vehicle with an RPG shell south of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
• Targeted a special Israeli force unit holed up inside a building with an anti-fortified TBG shell, killing and wounding its members, and targeted a tank that had come to support the force with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell south of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
• Targeted a building in which a number of Israeli soldiers were barricaded with an anti-personnel shell, and opened fire on a soldier near the building, injuring him directly in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City.
• Targeted a building in which special Israeli forces were holed up with four RPG shells and clashed with them with machine guns southwest of Gaza City.
•  Targeted an Israeli military tank southwest of Gaza City with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell.
• Targeted a Merkava tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell northeast of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
• Sniped an Israeli soldier with a Qassam “Ghoul” rifle northeast of the Al-Bureij refugee camp.
• Targeted concentrations of Israeli regime forces penetrating northeast of Al-Bureij Camp with mortar shells.
• Targeted a special Israeli force with an anti-personnel explosive device, "Ra'adiya," clashed with it, and detonated a "Shuath" device among another force, causing deaths and injuries in the Al-Salam area, east of Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip.
• Sniped an Israeli soldier in the Sheikh Ajlin neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.
• Lured a special Israeli force to a tunnel entrance and blew it up, causing direct hits, east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.

Hezbollah's operations on Jan. 19:

Eastern sector:

• At around 15:15 local time, a deployment of Israeli soldiers between the Summaqa and Ramtha sites in Shebaa was targeted with a Burkan missile.
• At around 16:00 local time, a gathering of Israeli soldiers in Jabal Nadhar was targeted with missiles.

Eastern sector:

• At around 16:15 local time, a deployment of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Khirbet Ma’ar base was targeted with a Burkan missile.
