Iran anti-terror operation

Iran's ambassador to the United Nations says the country’s recent anti-terrorism operations were in line with its international obligations, especially under international humanitarian law. Amir Saeid Iravani made the comment in a letter to the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and the president of the Security Council. He said as one of the main victims of terrorism, Iran carried out anti-terrorist operations in line with its inherent right of self-defense under international law and the UN Charter. The Iranian ambassador added that Iran's operations included targeted attacks against the bases and facilities of terrorist groups in Syria and Iraq. Iravani said the operation was a response to the recent Daesh-claimed terrorist attack in the city of Kerman, which left over 100 innocent civilians, including women and children, dead. He also reiterated Iran's unwavering commitment to fully respect the national sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Iraq and Syria.

US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

Over one hundred days into Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza, the regime continues pounding the residential areas with airstrikes and shelling. Gaza health ministry says at least 158 Palestinians have been killed and 320 others injured during the regime’s latest attacks. The southern city of Khan Yunis and its medical centers remain the key targets of the Israeli airstrikes. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, Israeli warplanes have bombed the vicinity of al-Amal hospital, inflicting severe damage to the building, and causing panic among the patients and the displaced people taking shelter there. Israeli forces also launched an intense series of raids on the city itself. A large number of casualties have been reported as a result. The overall death toll has now surpassed 24 thousand, mostly women and children. Meanwhile, communications and internet services are completely cut off in wide areas of the Gaza strip. This marks the seventh outage in Gaza since the outbreak of the war on Oct. 7th.

Iraqi resistance supports Gaza

The Islamic Resistance of Iraq says it has fired missiles at a vital target of Israeli regime in central occupied Palestinian territories. The group says, over the past few days, it used al-Arqab advanced long range cruise missiles to hit the Israeli targets. The resistance movement has described the attacks as a response to the US-Israeli crimes against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The group previously targeted Israeli military bases across the occupied territories. The Islamic Resistance of Iraq has vowed its attacks will continue until the Israeli regime stops its ongoing genocide against the people of Gaza.
