Jan. 13: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against Israel and its Western backers amid the regime's genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of almost 24,000 Palestinians, mostly children and women.

The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Saturday, January 13, are as follows:

Qassam Brigades' operations on Jan. 13:

• Targeted four Merkava tanks and a troop carrier with ‘Al-Yassin 105’ shells east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
• Targeted an Israeli infantry force with an anti-fortified TBG shell east of Khan Yunis, resulting in several Israeli army casualties.
• Eliminated two Israeli regime soldiers from point zero east of Khan Yunis city.
• Detonated an anti-personnel device among an Israeli special force that advanced toward a tunnel entrance east of Khan Yunis, leaving many dead and wounded.
• Bombed a gathering of Israeli military vehicles and soldiers east of Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip, with heavy-caliber mortar shells.
• Targeted a helicopter east of Khan Yunis city in southern Gaza with a surface-to-air missile.
• Targeted an Israeli military bulldozer and two Merkava tanks with ‘Shuath’ explosive devices east of Khan Yunis.
• Targeted an Israeli infantry force with a ‘Ra'adiya’ anti-personnel device east of Khan Yunis, causing many deaths and injuries.
• Targeted an Israeli military excavator and a Merkava tank with ‘Al-Yassin 105’ shells east of Khan Yunis city in southern Gaza.

Al-Quds Brigades’ operations on Jan. 13:

• Engaged in clashes with Israeli regime forces using machine guns and anti-tank shells in the axes east of Bureij and Mughazi camps in central Gaza.
• Shelled a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the axes north and east of Bureij camp in central Gaza with a barrage of mortars.
• Shelled Israeli military vehicles southeast of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood with several mortars. Engaged in clashes with regime forces in the Al-Mahatta axis, east of Khan Younis, resulting in a number of Israeli casualties.
• Engaged in clashes with regime soldiers in the Mukhabarat area north of Gaza City, and detonated an explosive in a military vehicle, causing deaths and injuries.

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces’ operations on Jan. 13:

• Targeted a gathering of Israeli military vehicles southeast of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood with a number of mortar shells.
• Engaged in clashes with regime forces in Khan Yunis, fired an RPG grenade at their vehicles, causing deaths and injuries among the ranks of the Israeli army.

Hezbollah's operations on Jan. 13:

Eastern sector:

• At around 11:20 local time, the Al-Assi site was targeted with appropriate weapons.
• At around 14:25 local time, Israeli soldiers in Hunin Castle were targeted with appropriate weapons.
• At around 15:05 local time, Israeli soldiers were targeted with missiles on Al-Tayhat Hill.
• At around 16:00 local time, the Ruwaisat Al-Alam site in Shebaa was targeted with missiles.
• At around 16:55 local time, the Israeli Merkava tank was targeted at the Metulla site with appropriate weapons, which led to its destruction.

Western sector:

• At around 12:00 local time, the Birkat Risha site was targeted with appropriate weapons.
• At around 14:00 local time, the Beranit Barracks was targeted with missiles.
• At around 16:30 local time, the settlement of Shtola was targeted with appropriate weapons.

Iraqi resistance’s operations on Jan. 13:

• Attacked with drones two US occupation bases in the Al-Omar field and the Green Village in Syria, resulting in destruction and casualties.
• Attacked the US-occupied Kharab al-Jir base in Syria with a barrage of rockets, resulting in destruction and casualties.
