Palestinians across the occupied West Bank gathered on Sunday to bid farewell to six young men, including four brothers, who were killed in an earlier Israeli airstrike in the city of Jenin.
The footage shows Palestinians gathering on the streets of Jenin to carry the bodies of the victims.
Umm Alaa Darwish, the grieving mother of the four martyred brothers, recounted the moment, saying, "My son called me to tell me that Martyrs roundabout has been bombarded, and asked me to 'check on my brothers'... I saw Alaa among the victims. My son, Hamoudeh, told me that Hazza was [also] martyred.... I was taken aback when I saw my four sons in the hospital."
Yaser Asous, father of another martyr identified as Mohammed Yaser As'ous, said, "The martyr was single and a religious man who performed his prayers and [was] a decent man. Everyone was speaking well of him. Praise be to God. My other son is in the hospital. I praise you, God, as Palestine requires heavy sacrifice of blood. Without our blood nothing is obtained."
Israeli officials claimed that the strike was carried out in response to an attack on the regime's forces.
