Palestinians are resisting in Gaza with everything they have. The Israeli bombardment continues to kill, maim, and starve the population, but Gazans have reinforced their steadfastness.

Pressure is very much being placed on the United States at the UN Security Council to change its position, acting as the political buffer between Israeli aggression and global condemnation.

So far, Washington is hedging its bets in the hope that it can influence both the outcome of the ceasefire vote and the draft text. As the Ansarullah movement inside Yemen steps up the pressure on Israeli-bound vessels, the support for Tel Aviv is starting to come at too high a price for some of its allies.
