US-Israel genocide

The Israeli prime minister has applauded the US veto of a UN Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. Netanyahu added that Tel Aviv will press ahead with its onslaught to 'eliminate Hamas' and achieve the regime’s other goals that it has so far failed to achieve despite over 2 months of bloodshed in Gaza. The Israeli premier made the comments after the United States blocked a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Washington is widely believed to be directly behind Israeli war crimes against Gazans as it overtly supports the Tel Aviv regime and provides it with weapons to be used in the strikes against civilians.

Targeting Israeli-bound ships

The Yemeni army says all ships destined for Israel are legitimate targets unless the needed food and medicine are allowed into the Gaza Strip. In a statement, the Spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, Yahya Saree warned all ships and shipping companies against dealing with Israeli ports. He said the decision was made due to the regime’s continued horrific massacres, genocidal war, and siege against Palestinians in Gaza. The decision is the latest in a series of retaliatory operations by the Yemeni army against Israel. Since October 7, they have seized several Israeli-linked vessels in waters around Yemen.

Global rage at US, Israel

Rallies have been held across the world in solidarity with Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Thousands joined a pro-Palestine march in London, demanding an end to the genocide in Gaza. Demonstrators called on the UK government to stop supporting the genocidal campaign against Palestinians. Similar protests were held in Austria’s Vienna, Italy’s Milan, and Denmark’s Aarhus, with protesters voicing their support for Palestinians and calling for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. Also, hundreds of protesters in the Emirati city of Dubai marched in solidarity with Gaza outside the COP28 climate conference venue. Meanwhile, a coalition of major factions in Palestine has called for a global strike on Monday in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
