Reports by Israeli TV channels indicate that the effectiveness of the regime’s air force operations against Hezbollah has decreased in recent days as the Lebanese resistance movement has figured out how to neutralize such operations.
Israel’s Channel 13 said in a report on Monday that Israeli air force was no longer capable of carrying out ground operations past the Lebanese borders because Hezbollah had adapted its tactics to outmaneuver those of the regime’s air force.
It said the regime was receiving “hits and injuries” from Hezbollah as it referred to successful operations launched by the group from southern Lebanon on Sunday that targeted the Israeli army positions.
A military expert also told Israel’s Channel 12 that events that happened on Sunday along the border between the Israeli-occupied territories and Lebanon were a marker of shame for the regime.
Reports have shown that Hezbollah decided to change its military tactics in the cross-border clashes with the Israeli regime in late October as it introduced surface-to-air missiles to counter Israeli drones that were used to identify Hezbollah fighters approaching border areas.
Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah also said on Saturday that the group will continue to exert pressure on Israel to force the regime to end its brutal military campaign against the Gaza Strip, where it has killed more than 11,000 people since the war started early October.
Nasrallah said Hezbollah’s use of heavy-caliber Burkan (Volcano) missiles, which can carry a warhead weighing up to half a ton of explosives, had improved the group’s combat capabilities in the fight against the Israeli regime over the past week.
“Without a doubt, last week saw an improvement in operations, both qualitatively and in terms of the number of operations and the quality of the missiles we use,” he said.
