At least 23 Palestinians killed in two separate Israeli air strikes early in the southern Gaza cities of Khan Younis and Rafah.

Rescuers and people searched beneath the rubble of a building on Tuesday (November 7), after an Israeli airstrike hit Al-Qarara neighborhood in Khan Yunis, Gaza.

One resident of the area said that they were sleeping when they heard the missile falling.

"They were all children, all of them are children, and thank God they were safe," said Abu Jihad, Resident of Al-Qarara town.

At least 23 Palestinians were killed in two separate Israeli air strikes early on Tuesday in the southern Gaza cities of Khan Yunis and Rafah, health officials said.

Gaza health officials say the Israeli assault has killed more than 10,000 Palestinians, including some 4,100 children.
