The peace negotiations underway in Colombia between the government of Gustavo Petro and the National Liberation Army guerrilla concern not only that country, but the entire continent.
This process has multiple and powerful adversaries who benefit from violence. The ELN is the last operational group of the large guerrilla movements that were formed in the 60s in response to the violence of landowners and the army.
