A high-ranking delegation from the Iranian Supreme National Defense University (SNDU) is on a visit to India to develop educational and research relations between the two countries’ defense institutes.
The delegation, led by SNDU President Brigadier General Dr. Esmail Ahmadi-Moghadam, met with officials from the National Defense College of India, one of the world’s premier training institutes for senior defense and civil service officers.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a range of topics and agreed to increase cooperation in the areas of common interest, including the conducting of joint scientific and educational research, as well as the exchange of students and study boards.

The SNDU delegation also visited the Center for Strategic Studies of India, where Ahmadi-Moghadam gave a speech about the Ukraine war, and other global issues such as the transfer of power and future trends.
The two sides further agreed to boost scientific and educational cooperation and exchange scholars and researchers, vowing to remain in contact over various regional and international developments.

Moreover, the Iranian team paid a visit to the Indian Air Force College for Strategic Studies, where it held talks with the professors and students on global and regional issues and areas of joint cooperation.
It also visited India's Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
