Iran's Wushu athletes secured notable victories on the third day of the 11th edition of the Asian Junior Wushu Championships, clinching a gold and a bronze medal.
Diana Rahimi, competing in the 60kg category, exhibited remarkable prowess as she emerged victorious against her counterpart from Macao in the final match, securing the gold medal.
Rahimi's winning streak began with triumphs over her opponents from India and Palestine, propelling her into the finals.
Recognized by the International Wushu Federation as an emerging global star in Sanda, Rahimi had previously claimed the gold medal at last year's World Wushu Championships in Indonesia.
Additionally, Rouzhan Fatahi, competing in the 52kg category, displayed her exceptional skill in the competitions.
After advancing to the semifinals with a victory against her Indian rival, Fatahi secured a bronze medal by facing off against her opponent from China.
