Pakistan’s former primer minister, Imran Khan, has been arrested after a court sentenced him to three years in jail for illegally selling state gifts.

The conviction, which was handed down in absentia, bans Khan from political office for the next five years. The question is has Khan really sold state gifts? Or is he a victim of political infighting? Or maybe he is a victim of outside interference, likely by the United States, which the former premier accused of trying to oust him. We have discussed these issues with our guests in this edition of the Spotlight program.
