A Saudi Arabian warplane has crashed in the kingdom's southwest, killing all those on board.
The incident took place on Wednesday involving an F-15SA aircraft, the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing a statement issued by the country's defense ministry.
It took place during a "training mission" in the city of Khamis Mushait, the agency added.
The exact location of the incident was identified as the training area of King Khalid Airbase, some 815 kilometers (506 miles) southwest of the capital Riyadh.
The F-15SA is a two-seat fighter jet, but the kingdom did not immediately identify the number of crewmembers.
Ministry spokesman Brigadier General Turki al-Maliki said an investigative committee had launched a probe to look into the cause and circumstances of the incident.
The kingdom began using the aircraft extensively in 2015 when it launched an invasion against neighboring Yemen.
It was, however, reportedly forced to return many of the warplanes to their hangars after April 2022, when the two sides announced a truce.
